Banana Pudding Recipe

With the cold weather, I'm in the mood to make a banana pudding. These are considered priceless in my family. Southern cooking is always competitive, but with this recipe you are guaranteed to make the most impressive banana pudding at Sunday dinner. It's easy as pie! ;)


Ingredients
4 egg yolks
1.5 cups of milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 tbs flour
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
box of vanilla wafers
bananas

Directions


Mix all but flavoring in saucepan. Cook over medium high heat for 10 mins stirring constantly. Once it thickens up take it off the heat and add banana flavoring.

Layer crackers and bananas into dish of choice. Let the pudding cool before pouring over your bananas, this will keep them from turning brown!

To make meringue you can beat the egg white and add sugar until they are fully. Then you can turn the oven on broil the meringue to brown the top.
