A New Spin On GIF's
We all know the GIF... the moving mini image. Usually they last a few seconds. But there is a new design technique that is being referred to as "cinemagraphs". Generally speaking, "cinemagraphs"are images that contain within themselves a living moment that allows a glimpse of time to be experienced and preserved. These are very classy images that have been altered subtly. Just a simple movement says so much in these images. Check them out and leave a comment or reaction if you like what you see.
“There’s something magical about a still photograph - a captured moment in time - that can simultaneously exist outside the fraction of a second the shutter captures.”
